The former president's Family Member Seeks Expert Advice from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of Professional Golf Debut

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

This young athlete boasts impressive social media following

Kai Trump will have numerous prominent cheerleaders when she begins her first LPGA appearance on Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who happens to be connected to a former US president, obtained a sponsor's invitation to play at the Annika tournament in the Sunshine State.

The former president, an avid golfer, possesses numerous courses worldwide and often competes against his granddaughter.

"He's quite skilled. I shouldn't elaborate but we play competitive games," she revealed.

She mentioned that her grandfather, who cannot attend, counseled her: "Simply avoid anxiety."

"He practically suggested to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He won't be there this weekend. He's occupied with presidential duties, making him quite busy."

As an amateur, the golfer has played in only three events this year and maintains ranking 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she's able to get advice from golf legend, who is dating Kai's mother.

"He represents the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.

"And he's a superior human being. He suggested me to compete, enjoy myself, following whatever happens."

She'll challenge multiple most prominent players in women's golf at the Annika, such as world number two Nelly Korda, England's golfer Hull, Lexi Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

The LPGA mentioned that Kai's presence helps introduce the sport to wider groups, especially among the next generation.

Kai has millions of followers and has started a personal clothing and lifestyle company.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
