Earick Dismisses Tottenham Hotspur Acquisition Offer Following Expression of Interest

US technology mogul the entrepreneur has dismissed submitting an official acquisition offer for the North London club.
Tottenham had before “clearly turned down” an unofficial approach from a consortium spearheaded by Earick last period and insisted the organization was not for sale.
Yet UK takeover and merger rules dictated that, having had an informal proposal declined, the interested parties were obligated to present a formal offer by 24 October or announce they would refrain.
Official word of the determination was provided in a statement issued by Spurs to the stock exchange, indicating the team is “not in an offer period.”
The entrepreneur posted an picture of the announcement on social media, remarking: “It was a pleasure engaging with Spurs and the Lewis family's representatives over the past few months.
“I hold great respect for the organization, its leadership, and its followers, and desire continued achievements.”
The club's board thanked the consortium for its “positive engagement” in talks and for “respecting the definitive view” of the owners that the club is unavailable.
The entrepreneur is a one-time music presenter who also was employed in aerospace studies for the space agency before creating his technology firm, which focuses on tech, media, athletics and recreation.
The informal offer was the third expression of interest turned down by the club's board since the unexpected exit of long-serving chairman the former chairman in last month.
